An exciting mix of South African music for the youth

We attended one of the most anticipated music festivals to ever hit the creative, fashion and art space in Johannesburg. Surrounded by vibrant youth and fired by Nandos, the Basha Uhuru Freedom Festival showcases art, design, film, poetry and music. The festival featured a mash-up of both established and emerging artists, blazing trails across the music scene. We spoke to songwriter and composer Msaki, DJ Aztek, and The Charles Gene Suite who all formed part of an eclectic and exciting mix of South African music.
